This site sets no cookies and uses no storage in your browser. Nothing is written to your device by quietlogic.online, nothing is read back on a later visit, and no third party is permitted to place anything through these pages. Two things do happen that are worth naming honestly: our hosting provider records ordinary server access logs, and your browser fetches the site's typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. The table sets out every technology people reasonably ask about and what this site does with each.
Storage audit
| Technology | Used on this site? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| First-party cookies | No | The site writes no cookies of its own. There are no session identifiers, preferences or counters. |
| Third-party cookies | No | No third party can set a cookie through these pages, because no third-party script or frame is loaded. |
| localStorage | No | Nothing is written to local storage. The site's scripts do not use it. |
| sessionStorage | No | Nothing is written to session storage. |
| IndexedDB | No | No database is created in your browser. |
| Tracking pixels | No | There is no invisible image, beacon or conversion tag anywhere on the site. |
| Browser fingerprinting | No | No script collects device, font, canvas or hardware characteristics to recognise you. |
| Web fonts | Yes | The stylesheet and font files are requested from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address. No cookie is set on this site by that request. |
| Server access logs | Yes | Our hosting provider records the request, your IP address, the time, the URL, the referring page where sent and the user-agent string, kept for 30 days. |
What these things are
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on later requests, which is how sites remember a signed-in session or a chosen setting. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: local storage and session storage keep values in the browser, IndexedDB keeps structured data there, and a tracking pixel is a tiny file whose only purpose is that requesting it tells someone you opened the page.
None of those is in use here. This is a reference site with nothing to remember about you: there is no account, no preference to save, no basket and no measurement of what you read. Where a site has nothing to store, storing nothing is simply the straightforward option.
Why there is no consent banner
A banner exists to obtain consent for storage that would otherwise be placed without it. Nothing is placed here, so there would be nothing for you to agree to, and a banner asking you to accept cookies on a site that sets none would be a false statement about what we do. We would rather describe the position accurately on this page.
What does happen
Server access logs are created by our hosting provider for every request, as they are for any website, and are kept for 30 days for security and fault diagnosis. The Google Fonts request sends your IP address to Google so the font files can be returned; Google explains its handling of data at policies.google.com/privacy. Neither of those places anything on your device, and both are described in full in our privacy policy.
After you follow an affiliate link
Our affiliate links lead to the World of Warships site. Once you are there, that site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, typically to record where the referral came from. That is outside EU Building Partners s.r.o.'s control and is not governed by this page. Their own cookie and privacy notices describe it, and they are worth reading if the point matters to you.
Blocking or clearing cookies generally
Every current browser lets you see what has been stored, delete it, and refuse future cookies. The controls sit in the settings under a heading such as privacy, site data or content settings, and most browsers also offer a private or incognito window that discards everything at the end of the session. Blocking cookies broadly will affect sites that rely on them for signing in; it will not affect anything on this site, because there is nothing here to block.
If this ever changes
If EU Building Partners s.r.o. ever introduces a cookie on this site, this page will be rewritten to say what it does and how long it lasts, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before the first cookie is set. We will not add one quietly.
